Alexander R. Roome, Attorney at Law
Alexander Roome has been practicing family law since 2012. After graduating law school, he worked at a small Beaverton, OR family law firm. In 2014, Alex was hired by the Oregon Department of Justice as an Assistant Attorney General to assist in complex litigation. In 2015, Alex started his own firm to assist clients with Family Law and Small Business legal issues.
Alex volunteers at at Mercy Corps NW using his experience and legal knowledge to assist community based small business owners with their diverse legal needs. He also has volunteered at Legal Aid Services of Oregon assisting clients with tax issues.
Alex graduated cum laude from Lewis & Clark Law School and served as an Articles Editor for the Lewis and Clark Law Review. Prior to law school, Alex attended University of California, Santa Cruz, where he majored in Political Theory and worked as an editor and production manager for the student newspaper.
While in Law School, he was a law clerk for the Oregon Department of Justice. He also interned at the Lewis & Clark Small Business Legal Clinic, and several of Portland’s large Non-Profit Corporations. During this time, Alex also worked for several family law and business solo-practitioners, learning the nuts and bolts of the legal world. Alex brings strong experience in representing families and small businesses, and is dedicated in bringing cost effective and high quality legal service to his clients.
